Dear Parents and Caregivers, Valentine’s Day was celebrated by students wearing pink and red at the Bondi Campus as the Charity Portfolio raised money going towards providing essential items needed by those affected by the earthquake in Turkey and Syria. A bake sale, gifts, and song dedications were all on offer and I am proud to announce that they collected $950 for these communities who are enduring such hardship. More images on page 5. In assembly last Friday, Jax Carrick (Year 12) of The Academic Support Portfolio launched the weekly Study/ Tutorial sessions for Year 7, Year 8, and Year 9 students. Last weekend, the first of the Annual Art Retreats took place. The HSC artists travelled to Hobart to have an experience at the Museum of Old and New Art (MONA). The students were enthralled, surprised, and delighted by the artworks and installations they experienced inside the architectural gallery space and at GASP - Glenorchy Art & Sculptural Park.
