A complete list of results are on page 3. All the Sydney Eisteddfod results are now in and they are fantastic and reflect the importance Reddam places on Public Speaking. The Radio Announcing results are very pleasing bearing in mind that this term our students are launching their own radio show in collaboration with Eastside Radio 89.7FM. Our ten students involved in this project have had their training and induction and are rearing to get going. The results of the Radio Announcing were a clean sweep for Reddam in each age group: 15 - 17 Years Georgie Davis - 1st Jack Myers - 2nd Jamie Levitt - 3rd Adi Alroy - Highly Commended 14 Years Archie Diamond - 1st Maya Hatzvi - 2nd Jasmine Cohen - 3rd
Our 2022 Year 12 Soccer Team wore their jerseys for the final time last weekend. Mr Palmer said the boys were very passionate about their football and finished the season on a high with a 2-1 win over St Aloysius. The HSC Music Performance Trials were held this week on Wednesday and Thursday ahead of the students' actual HSC performances in Week 7 of this term. Great news for three of these Music students who do Voice as an instrument is that they have all three received early university offers for the Conservatorium next year following their auditions in the holidays. Well done to Jack Futcher, Gabriel Jones and Zach Ahrens. The Athletics Championships on Wednesday, held for the first time since COVID sees none of the Middle School students ever having attended one in High School before. That being the case, this was something to celebrate and make a memorable day of at the ES Marks Athletics Field. Great fun was had by all and a glance at the records show that there are still school records held by some of the teaching staff as well as many of the student sport staff. My thanks to Mr Kable and his team for arranging a fun filled event in which our students could challenge themselves.
