Eclectic menu at Crazy Toast House Restaurant By Crystal Elescano Record-Journal staff
With the support and motivation of his family, Wallingford resident Jose Beltran recently opened Crazy Toast House Restaurant on Washington Avenue in North Haven. The eatery offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner with breakfast served all day. Around Town Senior safety talk North Haven police officer Keri Maciog visited the Senior Center on June 21 to present the program “Summer Safety for Seniors.” Senior citizens are often targets of crime, fraud and scams. Maciog explained ways seniors can keep themselves safe from harm, and what to do if victimized by a phone or email scam.
SROs reauthorized At a town meeting on Monday, officials reauthorized North Haven’s School Resource Officers for another five years. “We are very proud to provide sworn, certified police officers in every public
school in the North Haven District,” the North Haven PD stated in a Facebook post. “The safety of our students, staff, and faculty is a priority in North Haven.”

North Haven-based Bikers Against Animal Cruelty is a nonprofit organization which advocates against animal cruelty and neglect, promotes responsible pet ownership and helps provide the cost of emergency care for ownerless victims of animal cruelty and neglect.
