Coach Bob DeMayo ends historic career at North Haven High Citizen report
Coach Bob DeMayo, who navigated the North Haven High School baseball program for 63 years, has called it a career.
North Haven-based Bikers Against Animal Cruelty held its annual Rally Against Animal Abuse & Neglect on Saturday, Aug. 13, at the North Haven fairgrounds. The event featured live music, pro wrestling, food trucks, Nicole Zappone, The Citizen vendors, pet adoption opportunities, and more.
The state’s winningest high school baseball coach, with more than 900 victories to his name, informed his DeMayo returning players of his decision on Aug. 8.
