Norwalk Social Services Summer 2026

Page 1

Dear Norwalk residents,

As summer arrives and our city arrives in longer, sun-filled days, we are reminded of the energy, vibrancy, and togetherness that define our community.

This season invites us to embrace new experiences, connect with neighbors, and celebrate the simple joys of life in Norwalk.

The Social Services Department remains committed to supporting every resident with care, compassion, and meaningful resources. As you engage with our case management programs, access services for veterans and families, or explore ways to contribute, our team is here to walk beside you.

To enhance your experience, the City of Norwalk is upgrading the Senior Center restrooms. To complete this project, the center will be temporarily closed from Monday, June 15 through Saturday, June 20, reopening on Monday, June 22. We appreciate your patience as we make these improvements, demonstrating our commitment to providing exceptional, responsive facilities.

As we enjoy summer’s warmth, our team hopes you find moments of joy, growth, and belonging. Participating in a community event, spending time with neighbors, or reaching out for support strengthens the fabric of our Norwalk family.

Thank you for allowing us the privilege of serving you. Together, let’s make this summer a season of energy, generosity, and shared care.

Warm regards,

SENIOR CENTER TEMPORARY CLOSURE
