It has been a stellar spring! You’ll undoubtedly notice this month’s newsletter is late - that’s because things have been so busy with our annual Celebration event and a brisk real estate market! For the naysayers who like to say that real estate has slowed, I would like to submit all the properties I currently have under Contract as an objection to that sentiment.
Real estate markets are always localized While other markets may be faltering, Charlotte remains strong With a lack of inventory and continued pent-up Buyer demand, I’m finding this spring one of the most robust yet!
I would be remiss if I did not thank each and every one of you who attended our Celebration 2026 event at the Charlotte Knights baseball game! It was a great evening! I loved catching up with everyone! In addition to all the fun we had, we also raised $670 for the CharlotteMecklenburg Animal Care & Control Shelter!
For those of you unable to attend, I hope to see you at next year ’ s Celebration event!

Tips to Creating a Healthy Home
Signs It’s Time to Make a Move
A Dog and a Beer at the Game

Your home should be a place where you can relax and feel safe. It should also be a place where you can stay healthy. By following these tips, you can create a healthy home for yourself and your family:

Conventional cleaning products can contain harmful chemicals that can pollute the air and make you sick Choose natural cleaning products that are made with plant-based ingredients

This will help to remove pollutants and allergens from the air Open windows and doors whenever possible, or use a fan or ventilation system

High humidity can promote the growth of mold and mildew, which can cause health problems If your home is humid, use a dehumidifier to reduce the moisture levels.

Dust, dirt, and other pollutants can build up in your home over time
Regularly vacuum, mop, and dust your home to remove these pollutants
Plants can help to improve the air quality in your home. Choose plants that are known for their airpurifying properties, such as spider plants, aloe vera, and peace lilies

Air leaks can allow pollutants and allergens into your home. Seal any air leaks around windows, doors, and other openings.

Are you thinking about making a move? If so, there are a few things you should consider. Here are five signs that it might be time to make a move in real estate:
Maybe you've had a child or two, or maybe your kids have moved out. Maybe you've started working from home and need a bigger space. Or maybe you've downsized and need a smaller home. Whatever the reason, if your needs have changed, it might be time to move to a home that better suits your lifestyle.
If the value of your home has increased significantly, you may be able to sell it for a profit. This could be a good time to move up to a larger or more expensive home.
Sometimes, the best reason to move is simply because you're ready for a change. If you're feeling restless or bored with your current home, a move could be just what you need.
If you've gotten a raise or a new job, you might be able to afford a more expensive home. Or, if you've lost your job or had a financial setback, you might need to downsize to a less expensive home.

Celebration 2026 was a great evening spent at the Charlotte Knights’ game! Our suite was...well, sweet! Thanks to all who came out for the game! Loki was in his element, with all his friends who obviously came just for him. The question remains, should we make this an annual event? Let me know!
In July, I have an opportunity to attend the All-Star VIP Batting Practice Party. Do we have any aspiring baseball players who would like to join me on the field?
We have lots more opportunities to have fun - watch this page for more details throughout the year!

April 2026

The Charlotte market is still a Seller's market with just 3.0 months of inventory, but it's definitely cooling While prices are up 1 0% and Sellers still get 95.6% of their asking price, homes are taking longer to sell at an average of 75 days. Closed sales dropped 5.4%. It appears we are inching towards a balanced market at this point in the season.
