Malkin has said. “Nothing has changed,” they said. “We still plan to open in 2020.” The 158-room Joie de Vivre Boutique Hotel will go up on the property north of Mission Avenue and the 226-room Destination Hotels Resort on the block south of Mission. Groundbreaking will occur before the end of the year and a specific date will be announced after Labor Day.
