1. Ask for a credit line increase If you don’t have the cash to pay down your debts to 50% of the credit line, call your creditors and request an increase. Your utilization ratio will look much better, even with the same amount of debt, and your score will rise accordingly.

2. Become an authorized user on another person’s account Get creative and add yourself to another person’s credit card as an authorized user. The tradeline will appear on your credit report and could offer a considerable score improvement. Many people use authorized users as co-signers to get approved for loans (just make sure they pay on time!)
