The application of electronic and mobile solutions for health (eHealth and mHealth) in developing countries is expanding quickly, including in the field of Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH). The Access, Services, Knowledge (ASK) program which is currently being implemented in Uganda seeks to use e/m health strategies to increase direct access to SRH information and services to young people. A number of review papers noted that the research done in e/m health field is limited to short term effectiveness, client- provider assessment of technologies and cost of small scale pilots. Therefore, evidence is not sufficient to determine effectiveness or even sustainability of these interventions beyond pilot phases funding.
It is against this background that this OR broadly aimed at providing evidence about use of e/m health strategies for expanding direct access to SRHR information and services among young people in Uganda by conducting a comprehensive assessment of RAHU’s Sautiplus
