ABOUT NAMBOUR Historically the administrative heart of the Sunshine Coast, Nambour is undergoing a rejuvenation as investors look to the patch as an affordable, profitable, central location. Offering great access to the Bruce Highway, with multiple northbound and southbound entry points, Nambour is home to 12,000 people, several major supermarkets and important business services such as Department of Transport and Main Roads, and Sunshine Coast Council Customer Contact. The recently refurbished Nambour General Hospital remains a focal point for the region, and the median resident age of 40 is above that of both Queensland (37 years) and Australia (38 years). September 2021 saw a Nambour residential property sell for more than $1 million for the first time, and the median residential sale has risen approximately 30 per cent in 12 months, with demand for entertainment, dining, fitness and medical businesses reflecting this.
