The old Naruto is back! Naruto for the 20th anniversary announced multiple episodes dedicated to looking through the eras of Naruto that we all know and love!
However, these episodes have been announced since 2022 so we probably never getting them LOL.

Up first is Mario Kart World and Sonic Racing Crossworlds! While Sonic and Mario’s rivalry seems to have faded in recent times, with these two new games, Sonic seems to have sparked the rivalry once again! Both games are incredible in their own right and it’s a pleasure to see both on equal footing!

One Piece is now a seasonal anime instead of weekly! Now allowing animators to rest more often and for that pacing to not be horrid!
Would’ve been nice years ago but hey, baby steps!
No, we don’t mean trash heap in a bad way. The anime is literally about trash! Rudo Surebrec, a young orphan who had been blamed for a murder he didn’t commit. Now after being sent to a giant trash heap, he vows to get revenge.
Gachiakuta breaks the mold in both art style and story! The fight scenes are well choreographed, even the music is just shouting unique and fresh in comparison to the other animes out there. You’ll want to see this for yourself!
Catch it on Crunchyroll for the anime and read it at VIZ or your local library!

After countless delays, Sonic Rumble finally releases! However, it seems to not be as widely praised as iniitally thought, but maybe with updates it can become even better!
Kirby Air Riders, the sequel to the acclaimed Kirby Air Ride is finally coming out for the overpriced Nintendo Switch 2. Despite the shameful Nintendo Switch 2, the game is looking to be the best racer this year! Which makes you think as to why you need to play Mario Kart World...

New reports have shown that Crash Bandicoot will be getting a brand new animated series! Can he bounce back from the A.I, use and homeless allegations?

In January of 2026, Dragon Ball will be coming with an event callled “Genkidamatsuri” that’ll talk about more updates for the franchise, including new game updates and 2 new projects along with a brand new game!
While not fully known, after Toriyama’s unfortunate passing, the rights of Dragon Ball were at a standstill against Shueisha and Iyoku, Toriyama’s editor and best friend. It seems that the dispute is over now due to all the Dragon Ball stuff coming out, so we’ll see what happens.
The event is confirmed to be in Japan(obviously) on January 25, 2026! So clear that schedule, buy that ticket, and head on over to Japan to see the event. (It will likely be streamed so don’t stress if you can’t make it to Japan.)

Boruto, the official sequel to Naruto, was seen as iffy in the beginning and flat out bad majority of the time. However, with Kishimoto coming back, and Boruto finally hitting it’s time skip, people wonder if this is the start it needed.

Hunter x Hunter, an IP that’s been in a limbo for some time now got a game! Unfortunately, Nen Impact had failed dramatically in both sales and as a game. Making many fans worried that we’ll never get a truly good Hunter x Hunter game forever.

Mario aside from the spinoffs, has been absolutely radio silent, Many have been questioning on when the next Mario game could be? With the Nintendo Switch 2 suffering from lack of games, a new Mario could save the switch from boredom.
The entire My Hero franchise is slowly coming to a close. The manga has come to a close with the anime soon to that ending as well. However, the franchise isn’t simply just ending, but leaving with a bang.
My Hero is leaving with the anime being a step above the normal quality it normally is, a brand new game in the One’s Justice franchise, and some brand new surprises at Jump Festa 2026. It’s safe to say that even with My Hero’s end, it’s rather a new beginning than a true ending.
It’s safe to say that the growth of My Hero Academia is an amazing feat in and of itself. From Deku being a reasonably sad and lonely kid to a strong and capable hero is something that could make a grown man like myself cry. However I can tip my hat off to what was once a joke and is now one of the greatest animes of all time.
