Retail Association of Nevada Statement on the Contingency Fee Limitation Initiative Petition "RAN’s responsibility to our membership requires us to explore all proposals and avenues that can have an impact on lowering the cost of business for local bookstores, grocers, landscapers, and the thousands of other small and growing retailers here in Nevada. That due diligence led to conversations, but no final decision, to participate in the effort to support the Contingency Fee Limitation Initiative Petition. Earlier statements that indicated our support or membership in Nevadans for Fair Recovery were released without permission. The Retail Association of Nevada will not be participating in this effort. We will continue to staunchly support our mission to educate policy makers that decisions made in Carson City have real world impacts on the price of goods and services for our customers and our members’ ability to stay in business."
