Tom and Sarah McCall established MC Livestock in the Fall of 2000 with a primary goal in mind, producing cattle that benefit commercial cattlemen and registered producers alike. What started with a trailer load of cattle unloaded into the fertile grasslands of the Shenandoah Valley has developed into a biannual bull sale, national champion genetics, and a spread of the MC brand into some of the most astute commercial herds and coveted breeding programs in the country. Thankfully a lifetime of cattle experience registered and commercial has instilled the importance of problem free, long lasting genetics that work for our customers.
We believe the cow is the foundation of any herd and so every breeding decision starts with making sure we have sound cattle with quality feet and udders, impeccable structure and good disposition for a problem free female. Likewise, we strive to produce bulls that will pass on their mothers’ functionality along with the power and efficiency our customers have come to expect, producing calves that make premiums, not problems.

SALE FORMAT: The bulls will be individually priced. At 12:30pm we will go through each pen. The cattle will be offered at the listed price. If more than one person is interested in the same animal we will have a bid off between the interested parties. A conference call will be available for anyone unable to attend in person.
OTHER BIDDING OPTIONS: Unfortunately internet bidding is not an option for everyone in our area so we have the following options if you are not able to come sale day:

Our BULL DEVELOPMENT Philosophy
At M C Livestock and T&J Cattle Co. our goals are to provide you with profitable genetics. Our bulls are developed on grass and hand fed a limited concentrate ration to build athletes that won’t melt away when it’s time to work. We raise them in a pasture environment which provides them ample exercise to allow them to maintain structural soundness and good feet which will translate to longevity in your herd.
GENETIC TABULATIONS: EPD’s represented in the catalog were current as of March 6, 2026. EPD’s are re-calulated weekly by American Angus Association & North American Limousin Foundation which means these figures represented in the catalog may have already changed or will change for the animals in the future.
TERMS & CONDITIONS: The cattle sell under the terms and conditions as recommended by the American Angus Association and the North American Limousin Foundation.
• All bulls have passed a breeding soundness exam, including a semen evaluation.
• We will keep the bulls until December 1st at no cost but will give a $100 discount for any bull picked up by April 15th.
