Welcome to Jacksons Double J Brangus. Thank you for attending our feeder calf profitability conference and the kick-off to our private treaty bull sales. The conference has been a joy to plan and hopefully you all will gain a lot of different perspectives from several different sections of our industry that can help move your individual programs forward. The concept of profitability in our industry is becoming more fleeting as we move forward. We all have to look at every avenue available to maximize profits for our operations. We believe that we have assembled some of the best and brightest speakers in the cattle industry to share their perspectives on how to increase your profits. At the end of the conference, we will kick-off our private treaty bulls to the public with a short auction. There will be eight Brangus and Ultrablack bulls as well as three SimAngus bulls that we raised for our friends at Reid Cattle Company. The bulls will be onsite and available for viewing by appointment at any time. They will be penned and available for JACKSONS DOUBLE J viewing starting at 1 P.M. on Friday, April 12 if any of you arrive early. This is a top-end set of bulls that has several individuals that would sell toward the front at any auction in the country. Videos are available on all the bulls at www. doublejbrangus.com TERMS AND CONDITIONS All of the bulls will be semen tested and trich tested prior to sale day. They will sell with a one-year insurance policy that covers mortality and infertility from our friends at Adams and Creasy Insurance Agency. The insurance policy will cover the entirety of our guarantee. The bulls will enter the auction priced at $3,500 each. Lot 1 will be offered to the audience at that price. If lot 1 receives no bid at $3,500 then we will move on to the next lot. If lot 1 only receives one bid, then the lone bidder will purchase the bull at $3500. If lot 1 receives more that one bid, then the lot will be auctioned to the highest bidder. If any of the bulls do not sell in the auction, they will be available after the auction at $3,500. If you want to bid but cannot be with us, please let us know and we can make arrangements to accommodate.
