BUYERS NUMBERS All buyers must be registered and have an assigned number. Please confirm at bidder registration how you want your name to be recognized in print. PURCHASE CONFIRMATION You must sign a purchase confirmation indicating your promise of payment. The purchase confirmation must have your correct name, billing address, phone number and purchase price. BUYER RECOGNITION A maximum of four individuals will receive recognition (print, video, audio, badges, buyer awards, banners, etc.). A couple (individual and spouse) is recognized as one. Dear Friends of Ranching & Wildlife, Thank you all for attending the 11th Annual Ranching & Wildlife luncheon and auction. First, I must say how fortunate I am to be involved with so many generous and caring people, as I enter my second year as Chairman of this vibrant and exciting committee. The foundation of our committee is our volunteers, who selflessly give their time to our youth competitors in our four competitions. It is truly a blessing to watch our youth competitor’s love of the outdoors blossom and grow through their participation at our events. We are able to offer such great awards and prizes to our youth competitors, and connect them with the great outdoors, thanks to supporters like you. The Ranching & Wildlife Committee has had a very successful year.
The 6th Annual Young Guns Sporting Clay Shoot was held last weekend. We hosted 450 4-H and FFA contestants, ranging from 9 to 17 years old. The level of enthusiasm and sportsmanship displayed was truly a sight to see.
We are also hosting youth video and poster board educational contests. These poster boards and videos cover topics dealing with native species, and ways to improve habitats for native species. The entries have been impressive, to say the least. The finalists from the poster board and video contest will present tomorrow starting at 9 a.m., in room 207, on the second floor at the east end of NRG Center.
We have added a brand-new youth Archery Competition, to be held Sunday, March 10th, starting at 8 a.m. in the main arena in NRG Center.
As you can see we have been working hard toward Ranching & Wildlife Committee’s core goals: to educate Texans, especially the youth of Texas, on all that the outdoors in the great State of Texas has to offer, and how to leave this world better than we found it! We hope that you enjoy your time here with us today, and hope you leave with a better appreciation of all the opportunities the great state of Texas has to offer in the outdoors. On behalf of the Ranching & Wildlife Committee family and our Officer in Charge, Mr. Michael Galvan, we want to again welcome you to our event and to thank you in advance for your generous support of the youth of Texas.

Golden Hills Turquoise is a rare turquoise with an exquisite blue periwinkle coloring and chocolate brown matrix. It is mined in this Golden Hills mine out of Kazakhstan. It is hard to come by and used by local Native American designers in their best pieces. Samsville Gallery completes the look by pairing the squash blossom with 5stands of traditional Navajo pearls made out of sterling silver. The pearls are a perfect compliment to the squash blossom as it eloquently frames the necklace. This beautiful squash blossom is crafted by Navajo artist Ella Peters.
