TERMS AND CONDITIONS Settlement should be made on your purchase at the conclusion of the sale. Cattle will not be released from the premises until payment is received in full. Purchaser assumes the risk of death or injury to their livestock immediately after the animal is sold. Insurance is available to insure the animal until delivery to the buyer’s ranch, at the buyer’s cost. Gretsch Brothers Angus will provide health certificates for interstate shipment to any of the lower 48 states. Cattle will sell under the terms and conditions as recommended by the American Angus Association. Gretsch Brothers Angus reserves the right to retain a 1/3 revenue sharing interest in all bulls selling. LIABILITY All persons attending the sale do so at their own risk. The owners or sale staff assume no liability, for property loss or accidents that may occur. HERD HEALTH All cattle will be accompanied by proper health certificates for immediate shipment to any of the lower 48 states. GRETSCH BROTHERS BULL DEVELOPMENT Bulls were gathered at weaning time from 6 to 9 months of age. All bulls were weighed, vaccinated with a modified live IBR BVD with Lepto, and ear tattooed. Parasite control was given. The bulls were fed a free choice amount of high quality hay and bailage. The bulls were limit fed a high quality concentrate not to exceed 2.5% of body weight. The bulls were not on a gain test because we wanted to focus on the longevity of the animals. The bulls are used to having people around them. Docility is monitored both in the pasture and as they are processed for weights, vaccinations, freeze branding, carcass scanning, semen testing, and clipping. The bulls are handled a lot! We are feeding the bulls to develop an athletic and toned bull with sound feet and leg development that will last the customer for years of good service. Additionally, bulls were vaccinated within 30 days of the sale for additional health protection at the sale facility.

SIGHT UNSEEN PURCHASE GUARANTEE:
Within 30 days prior to the sale, Don Weir “The Bull Whisperer” will perform a fertility test on all bulls. A semen sample is collected to determine motility and morphology. Don will also measure scrotal circumference for reporting on the animals EPDs. This is a good indicator of fertility in the bull and its future progeny.
We know that these bulls will look great when you take them home and put them in with your cows, but we realize that’s not their main function! We feel like we have done everything in our control to provide you with a functional breeding bull. If you have problems with your bull during the first breeding season let us know as soon as possible. We will work with you to insure your investment and your satisfaction guaranteed! If the bull is not functional, we will do our best to provide a replacement or a credit will be issued for use in our next sale.
If you are unable to attend the sale, you may contact Fred Gretsch at (706) 340-0945. Let us know your bull needs and budget. We will do our best to purchase the highest quality animal for the budget you have. Upon completion of the sale you will be notified of any animals purchased for you. Payment must be made before delivery, and if you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you don’t own the animal.
