It is once again a pleasure to take this opportunity to invite you to the Eyes on the Midwest Sale on Sunday, September 16th. It is hard to believe this is our fourth sale. Speaking for myself only, time does fly the older you get but boy it sure is fun hosting these sales and sharing it with you. I know writing this letter means the catalog is completed. And that means the sale cattle have been selected and pictures are completed. I bet you never have heard this before, but this is our best offering yet. And I truly do believe I have reason to say that. We have more cow families represented and they are the best in the breed. Add to that the females are sired by or bred to the top Shorthorn bulls. The maternal power of the females offered are second to none and the quality of the open show heifer prospects, cows and bred heifers is better yet. If you are looking for a show heifer to compete and win with, a future donor to build your program on or a cow to add to your herd at a reasonable cost you want to be in the seats on September 16th in Newman, Illinois. I would personally like to thank the Norman, Meyer and Jordan families for working with me to make the “Eyes On The Midwest� sale a reality for the fourth year. GENERAL SALE TERMS Breeding Guarantee: All cattle sell under the Standard Breeding Guarantee recommended by the American Shorthorn Association. An exception would be through mishandling either obesity or under nourishment and illegal practices associated with showing the female. Air Travel: There are commercial flights to Indianapolis, Indiana and limited flights to Champaign, Illinois. There are private paved strips at Paris and Tuscola, Illinois. Embryos: Eyes on the Midwest consignors will guarantee one pregnancy on each package of embryos selling if implanted by a certified technician. Flushes & DNA: Eyes on the Midwest consignors reserve one flush of eight or more grade one or two embryos at our expense on all females selling. Eyes on the Midwest consignors also retains at our expense the opportunity to obtain a DNA cell line for cloning purposes on all cattle selling in this sale. Genetic Conditions: Genetic conditions will be completed and available at the sale. Terms: The terms of the sale are cash or check payable to Aegerter Marketing Services, Inc. Payment to be made to the clerk immediately following the sale and before the cattle are removed from the sale facility. Purchasers or their representative must sign the bill of sale prior to leaving the sale site. Insurance will be available at the settlement desk. Health: Each animal will be represented by a state approved health certificate for interstate shipment. Buyers should make themselves aware of the health requirements for their respective states. All vaccinations are up-to-date and cattle have been vaccinated. Registration And Transfer: All animals sell with completed pedigrees or applications for registration. Announcements made sale day will take precedence over printed material in this catalog. Liability: Each animal will be at the buyer’s risk as soon as sold, but will be cared for by the sellers for a reasonable amount of time. Neither the owners, employees, auctioneer, sale manager or other affiliated personnel can be responsible for any accidents, but they will make every effort to provide for the safety and comfort of those attending. Mail Bids: Mailed or telephoned bids will be handled in a most confidential manner. If you want a female that is sound structured, long bodied, and just a freak in terms of how she’s made, this one exceeds those expectations. A big boned, extremely heavy muscled female that’s just a complete brickhouse in terms of how much muscle she possesses while still being a giraffe necked female that’s so functional as she walks away. The mother of NR Tina’s Girl 422F is CCR Tina’s Girl 3514, the Reserve Supreme Champion Female at the 2015 North American in Louisville. The heifer was shown by Denny Jordan and Family.
