W
elcome to Six Mile Creek Cattle Co. for our first Fall Female Production Sale. We greatly appreciate and value your interest in our offering, which we believe is a strong set of cattle across the board.
We at Six Mile Creek are excited to be a new generation of Hereford breeders, presenting you with cattle that are not only predictable but pasture sound and have the stoutness that will produce trouble-free, high-performing progeny.
Who is Six Mile Creek? The Rubes family farm has been around for nearly 67 years. My grandparents Ed and Pearl Rubes bought the farm May 9, 1949, raising Hereford cattle. My father, Edward, then took over the farm around 1978 and continued the family legacy. During his time with the farm, Dad raised red Limousin cattle and eventually ended up with black Angus until we lost him in 2012. Being the third generation Rubes and loving the history of the family farm, I wanted to go back to the way my grandfather did it by raising Hereford cattle. Over the past several years, we have made some key purchases to improve the quality of our herd, which has led us to this day. Many thanks to those whom we have purchased cattle from in the past to help us continue to improve the quality of our herd. We are now excited to share the fruits of our labors with you. Please plan to join us the evening of Sunday, October 21st, as we and our fellow breeders the Currys present The Exclusive.

ear Fellow Cattle Breeders:
On behalf of myself and my entire family, we would like to welcome you to our first Annual Production Sale, hosted with Six Mile Creek. Our family has been in the Hereford business for over 30 years and strives to improve our cattle with the newest and best genetics possible.
This year’s show heifer prospects are the most balanced and deepest set we have offered. Most sale catalog letters begin with this sentence, but I truly believe these heifers offer the combination of show prospects and future elite cows. When our outfit purchased C Spot On 6128, I truly thought he would be a great asset to our program. His full brother was a Denver Champion, and his full sisters look amazing. Spot On has truly been a great breeding bull. His first calf crop sells, and the two-year-old first-calf heifers will have his calves at side.
The Curtis Curry Family
I truly want to thank my family for all the hard work that is done behind the scenes and for all the hours they have invested to make this possible. I would like to invite you and your friends out to view the offering and join us October 21st in El Reno, Oklahoma. Thank you for taking time out of your schedule to view our catalog. See ya at The Exclusive!

We just love the way this heifer is put together. She is so sweet in how her front end and neck lay into her shoulder. Then add in the depth of body and rib she has combined in a feminine package. She gets out and moves with an impressive amount of reach and style. A paternal sibling to this female was the Champion Intermediate Polled Bull this year at the National Western Stock Show. Razzy is the heifer we fell in love with on day one. Her incredible style and presence are second to none, and her depth and length of body are impressive. We absolutely love how clean and long necked this female is. This young lady will be hard to miss for the rest of the year and next summer. Her mother, Rizzy 0046, is one the special donors at Curry Herefords. She traces back to the immortal Reba family and About Time. Cracker Jack semen is getting harder to find…take advantage of a great one already on the ground. She blends beautifully from her neck into her shoulder and smoothly to her rib. Her dam, 426T, is the feature donor for Hoffman Ranch and Collins Cattle Co. who produced the top selling bull in the 2016 Hoffman Bull Sale. Her sire, Cowboss, combines two of the Hereford breed’s top producers in 88X and 78P. The combination of pedigree and look this female possesses gives her the true potential to be a big time producer in any donor program. Ranks in the top 10% for WW and top 15% for YW and $CHB. Owned with Rockin’ Shocker, Fort Worth, TX. • Sells open.

This smokin’ good March heifer is sired by our herd sire Intern. When you see Cinnabun sale day, you are going to drool all over her. She has all the parts that are in demand today. With her long, cool neck and front end combined with extra rib and substance, this female will be impressive on the chips. She is made square, big hipped and stout. She has the style, lines, structure, power and hair to make it big time as a show heifer. Cinnabun can cover some ground and moves extremely well. Her sire, Intern, is a stellar son of 88X out of our donor cow Judy, a direct daughter of Moler that was a division winner at Denver as well as the Southwest Regional Show Heifer of the Year. • Sells open.

Stella has “cow” written all over her. This February daughter of Spot On will be hard to miss when she walks in to the ring. Just ridiculously good in her lines and how she is put together, she is very smooth in her shoulder with a long, clean neck and square out through her hip and hind leg combined with the rib and mass that it takes to win today. The real value will be realized when Stella is beyond the show ring and putting dollars in your pocket. She also has the little extras, like red to the ground and eye pigment that will never go out of style. Ranks in the top 15% for $CHB and top 25% for Milk. • Sells open.

Sixlet is another heifer that will go far beyond the show ring. This very dark red female has the look of cow power written all over her. Her length of neck and cool look will put her over the edge. Add in the fact that she is ultra-deep in her body dimension and capacity. She has a long, square hip and plenty of power when you step behind her. Spot On is stacked with breed-leading genetics, and her mother is a great Navigator daughter that has About Time, Two Timin and Harland stacked in her lineage. • Sells open.

Another show prospect that won’t be contained to the show ring. This cowy looking female will have a bright future once all the banners have been hung. She gives you that exclusive look and style that never go out of style. Sage has an abundance of rib and capacity. Her massive hip and rear leg blend very well into a nice shoulder and neck. She will get out and move with the best of them as well. Sage is yet another reason why we are so excited about our new herd sire Spot On. This showy dynamo is really cool to see. Just look at how well she is made in her head and neck. She is long and level down her top and out through her tail head. She carries thickness down through her quarter and sets down a good hind leg with plenty of bone, not to mention that she carries a ton of rib and depth when you get out to the side. She will make plenty of friends sale day. She gets her superior style from her mother, who goes back to Full Throttle and our immortal Reba cow. You will not find many Hereford cows that are as impressive to look at as 3106A is. She has a beautiful, feminine front end that ties her shoulder to neck junction perfectly. When you get behind her shoulder, she has a huge rib cage with plenty of depth and length of body. She has a flawless udder and is very maternal. Her first calf was a Catapult heifer that sold to Express Ranches in our first online sale. 3106A has a proven pedigree that has worked time and again, blending Revolution and P606. Sound, predictable genetics in a package that is super eye appealing. We wanted to offer our best, so we dug deep into the donor pen to bring you Maddi 0030. This female is tried and true and has the offspring to prove it in the offering. Her natural heifer calf this year sells as Lot 3, and a sale feature ET bull calf sells as Lot 16. This female just makes them good. The amount of power and substance that she has is second to none. She is massively stout hipped, big boned and powerful throughout. She is due to calve in February to Spot On with what we think will be a barn burner. The style and look this bull has will make even the most discerning cattleman turn his head. His mother is the featured donor cow on the opposite page, Lot 15. Holy smokes! This girl is going to cause some commotion when people show up to look at her. This may be the deepest middled, soggiest cow we have on the place. Her capacity is truly impressive, coupled with the fact that she is big hipped and topped, long and level in her design and comes together clean in her shoulder and into her neck. A cow that you really need to see to appreciate how many good things she puts together in one ultra-complete package. Add to this that she is great uddered and a calf raising machine. The dam of this November heifer originated in the Ehlke herd in Montana and has done a great job for us, producing a heifer that sold for $7,000 to Anderson Ranch in Texas and a Trust daughter that sold to Iron Lake Ranch. W73’s four natural calves record an average weaning weight ratio of 107.3. Additionally, she is one of the first cows that we flushed, and we are retaining several daughters for our primary herd. You will not go wrong with the genetics in this pedigree, including Homegrown 8Y, Outcross, P606 and Patti 4266. Ranks in the top 10% for Milk and top 20% for REA. • Sells open.

An own daughter of Ribeye 88X, this female is exactly what we were hoping for and more when we mated him to her mother, the famous Reba 7016. Another young female that will work for many years for her new home, this unique two-year-old is well made through her front one-third and opens up into a beautiful rib cage with plenty of bone and soundness. We admire the fact that she is long and level down her hip and out through her tail head. A full sib sold to Bailey Williams for $12,500 and won her division in Fort Worth, San Antonio and Houston.
