General Information: Internet: The 2016 Southern Showcase catalog and videos can be viewed online at www.impactcattle.com Health: A veterinarian will be available sale day to write interstate health papers at no cost to the buyer. An update sale sheet will also be available sale day listing information not available at catalog press time. Trucking: Trucking will be no more than $250 per lot to central US locations when arranged by sale management. Lot Numbers: Ear tags on cattle correspond to the lot numbers in the catalog. Terms and Conditions: The cattle sell under the standard terms and conditions recommended by the respective breed organizations. Payment must be made in full in the form of cash or good check on sale day, US dollars only. Breeding Guarantee: Every open heifer selling is guaranteed to be open at the time of the sale and guaranteed to be a satisfactory breeder provided they receive proper and acceptable management from the buyer after the sale. Should a heifer prove to be a non-breeder, the customer must contact the consignor on or before February 20, 2017 to make a claim. A veterinarian’s statement detailing the heifer to be a non-breeder will be required and the consignor reserves the right to have the heifer returned to the sale site. The customer will be given a full credit (minus salvage value of the original heifer) to be used in a future Southern Showcase Sale or private treaty purchase from the consignor. Every bred female is guaranteed to be bred on sale day as stated in the sale catalog or as updated from the auctioneer at the time of the sale or on the update sheet provided at the sale. In the event any bred female is found to not be bred as sold, the customer needs to contact the consignor immediately and no later than February 20, 2017. The customer will be given a satisfactory credit to be used in a future Southern Showcase Sale or in a private treaty purchase from the consignor. Every bull has a 100% guarantee for one 90 day breeding season, provided that the bull is maintained in proper nutritional and physical health, anytime during the first 6 months from sale date. Should a bull have a problem (health, injury, death) before or during the bull’s first breeding season, prior to February 20, 2017, the customer should contact the consignor of the bull. A veterinarian statement on the condition of the bull will be required for all claims and the consignor reserves the right to have the bull returned to the sale site. A replacement bull of equal quality will be provided if available with delivery expense the responsibility of the customer. If a replacement bull is not available, the customer will receive a credit to be used in a future sale from the consignor equal to the price paid for the original bull minus salvage value. The consignor will not be held responsible for any settlement value exceeding the purchase price of the bull. Food: Lunch will be available at the sale site. Absentee Bids: The sale manager or any member of the sale staff will be happy to assist you with your purchases. There will be no charge to you for this service and every effort will be made to insure your total satisfaction with your purchases. Livestock Insurance: Livestock mortality insurance will be available for your purchases at the clerk’s desk and is required on all cattle when the sale staff arranges trucking. EPD’s: EPD’s listed are the most current available at the time of catalog production. Liability: Everyone attends the sale at his or her own risk. The sale manager, auctioneer, consignors, and Select Cattle Enterprises assume no liability whatsoever as to risk or personal injury.
