Welcome to Gaffney Family Cattle, Fantastic summer weather and record beef prices continue to make the beef business exciting for all producers. October 11th will mark the 6th Gaffney Family Cattle Female Production Sale. Over the past seven years, we have put together some of the top females in the Angus business. Our females have proven they can produce offspring with top end EPD performance on pasture, tolerate record cold temperatures and snowfalls, and have the disposition to work with a crew whose ages range from 8 to 80. We are welcoming new faces and families to the 2014 GFC Female Sale. Crouch Angus Valley will be bringing some bred females with unique pedigrees from some of the most popular sires in the breed. They have partnered with us on a couple of “Lady” family females. Thornberry Angus, the Hawthorne Family, will be offering some fancy show heifer prospects. The Hawthornes take the show ring seriously, while maintaining a productive and functional Angus cow herd.
