AREA HISTORY

In recent decades, it has served as an important commercial and service center for surrounding districts, while retaining its smalltown character and agricultural roots.

GlobalTerra’s history includes the acquisition of four fincas/farms strategically placed together to create a coffee estate. The coffee finca was exceptionally developed and grew into a known coffee resource. Eventually, troubling coffee economics drove the farm to change directions. Today, it raises cattle, cash crops, and avocados. Approximately seven hectares have been strategically acquired due to the premium location along the public road, allowing for the future development of street-frontage produce sales directly attached to the farm.
