Established in 1968, The Complete Fly Fisher has hosted anglers for nearly six decades on one of Montana’s most recognized trout fisheries. The property is situated on the Big Hole River near its confluence with the Wise River—an exceptional setting in the heart of the Big Hole Valley, with immediate access to productive water and a classic Southwest Montana landscape.
The Big Hole serves as the primary fishery, with seasonal hatches, wild trout, and extensive blue-ribbon stretches close at hand. In addition, several of the region’s marquee rivers—including the Beaverhead, Jefferson, and Bitterroot—are within practical driving distance, providing operational flexibility and variety when conditions dictate.
Today, The Complete Fly Fisher operates as a full-service fly-fishing lodge.
