On June 12th, RPM International Inc. announced the acquisition of Schul International co., LLC a manufacturer of joint sealants for commercial construction, and Willseal LLC, a business that markets and sells Schul products. Schul and Willseal are currently being integrated into RPM’s Tremco Commercial Sealants & Waterproofing business. Schul’s product line primarily consists of pre-compressed, self-expanding foam tapes, which are used for sealing vertical and horizontal joints in applications that include window seals, precast concrete, modular construction and concrete façade restoration, sold under the Willseal brand. Effective December 15, 2019, Schul and the Willseal brand, located in Hudson NH, will become Tremco’s center of excellence for all pre-compressed tapes. Tremco’s Illmod 600, Exoair Eco and Exoair Trio will be replaced by Willseal 600 and Willseal 600S. Schul offers a state-of-the art facility with an average 5-7 day turn around coupled with the Willseal family of best-in-class impregnated foam sealant products and technical expertise. Frequently asked Questions How do I place an order? All order requests should be initiated through your Technical Sales Representative. Your Tremco Rep will work with you to fill out a Willseal Quote Sheet, that includes fields for the basic information Willseal technical assistance will require in order to recommend/quote a solution. What else should I know about product pricing, quantity breaks, etc.? • Willseal will handle all pricing internally. Once a quote request is received, Willseal will provide you with the appropriate product pricing. • Distributor sales cannot be combined with any other purchase. • Distributor pricing cannot be counted towards any level/quantity breaks with a Tremco order. Which company will invoice customers (Tremco or Schul/Willseal)? Any order placed with Schul/Willseal will be invoiced by Schul/Willseal. What is the freight policy on Willseal orders? All freight is prepaid and add and cannot be combined with any Tremco order eligible for free freight. Will product be available through Tremco’s warehouses? No, WillSeal product is all cut to order and shipped within 5-7 business days. How do I track an order?
