City of Raleigh Museum Rentals
The City of Raleigh Museum, located in the historic Briggs Building, showcases the building’s beautiful storefront as well as its original wood floors, tall, pressed tin ceilings, and other unique architectural details.
The museum’s lobby, first floor main gallery, and lowerlevel classroom are available to rent for weddings, rehearsal dinners, cocktail parties, receptions, birthday parties, office parties, seminars, and more.
Museum members receive a 10% discount toward rental rates as do nonprofit agencies with 501(c)3 status.

$75/hour regardless of day rented
In addition to the rental rate, other required rental fees include a $250 refundable damage deposit, an $80 floor restoration fee, and either a $125 or $225 furniture setup/ breakdown fee. Optional fees include a $100 alcohol permit fee and a $100 audiovisual fee. Please remember that as a museum, the facility and its exhibits may change frequently and without notice.
