Brief Overview : Business decision making is a challenge for any managers / executives. While market dynamics and technological advancements do influence the business, it is ultimately the finance that decide the strength of the business. The information drawn from the financial reports, like, Balance Sheet, Income Statement (Profit or Loss Account) and Cash Flow becomes important inputs for its analysis and interpretation to to make the right decisions and also strengthen the financial health for sustainability and growth of any business.
SESSION CONTENT: The workshop aims to provide hands-on working knowledge required for strengthening the financial health of any business. It includes Understanding and interpretation of Financial Reports: viz. Profit & Loss Account _ Balance Sheet _ Cash Flow Statement Establishing key Relationship between items appearing in Profit & Loss Account and Balance Sheet through Ratios / Key Financial Indicators (KFIs) Establishing financial connect on key functions of purchase, sales, operations (manufacturing or trade or service) to enable optimized solutions. Use of KFIs for important business decision making.

Facilitator Profile: CMA Dr.S.Vasudevan Dr. S. Vasudevan, B.Sc., MA, FCMA, CMA (USA), PGDYN, Ph.D. has combined experience as an academician and as corporate functional head for over three decades in multi-faceted organizations that include Central Government, Corporate organizations and Educational Institutions. He had held senior positions as Executive Director of a listed public limited company and also as Dean of a Business School. He had held positions as Member of Board of Studies, Academic Council, Finance Committee and Management Committee of a University based in Tamil Nadu. He has published and presented many Research Papers and has to his credit “EMINENT EDUCATIONIST AWARD” presented by National and International Compendium, New Delhi. He was instrumental in propagating and delivering on CSR activities. He has been handling workshops, seminars and guest lectures at different institutions for different audience groups within the country and abroad in the field of Entrepreneurship, HR, Finance, Big Data, Analytics, ML and AI. He is presently holding responsibility as Director-Business Development of the Institute of Analytics (USA)™.
