I am an interior design student at Kansas State University with a unique journey that began as a nursing major before discovering my true passion for design. My background has given me an appreciationforhowenvironmentsimpactwell-being,whichInow channelintocreatingspacesthatarebothfunctionalanduplifting.

My approach to design focuses on incorporating playful elements that spark curiosity and bring a sense of wonder to every space. Furniture Warehouse
As a Furniture Sales Associate, I created quotes, sales orders, and invoices to facilitate purchases. I accurately managed payment collection while maintaining professionalism. Providing exceptional customer service involved addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring satisfaction. I also educated customers on product features and maintenance to aid their purchasing decisions..
As a Sales Representative for hard surfaces and area rugs, I collaborated with designers to meet project needs. My duties included bidding, preparing quotes and invoices, managing payments, and assisting with material selection. I ensured alignment with project specifications while keeping designers updated on new products. I also coordinated material orders for timely execution and provided excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues quickly in order to foster strong relationships.

As a Warehouse Worker at Amazon, I ensured efficient workflow by accurately sorting boxes into pallets, optimizing stability and space. I followed safety protocols and met productivity targets in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the timely shipment of customer orders through attention to detail and teamwork.
As a Certified Nursing Aid (CNA) and Certified Medication Aide (CMA) in a nursing home, I delivered compassionate care to residents by assisting with personal needs, mobility, and daily activities. I accurately administered medications and maintained detailed care records, collaborating with nursing staff to ensure residents' health and well-being in a safe environment.

Thedesign intentionallysupportschildrenonthe AutismSpectrumthroughtheelimination oflonghallwayscreatingpredictable circulation,clearwayfinding,aswellas providingenvironmentsthatminimize sensoryoverload.Softbutclearlightingand acalmingmaterialpalette,anddedicated playandwaitingzonesallowchildrento engagewiththespaceattheirown comfortlevel.Examroomsofferacoustic privacy,dualaccessforstaffandpatients, andflexiblelayoutsthataccommodate varyingsensoryandbehavioralneeds. Groundedinbarrier-freedesign,theclinic prioritizesinclusivity,comfort,anddignity forpediatricpatientsofallabilities.

Thisspaceisthoughtfullydesignedwith neurodivergentchildrenasaprimaryfocus.To accommodatetheirneeds,weremovedlong corridorsandensuredeasyaccesstoall examinationrooms.
Theareaisdesignedwithsoft,calmingcolorsto fosteratranquilatmosphere,whilereducingthe presenceofharshfluorescentlightingandnoisy soundsthatmightbeoverwhelming.












Theinteractivetreetunnelisaplayspacedesigned toengagechildren'simaginationwhileprioritizing cleanlinessandsafetyforstaff.
Thereceptiondeskserves asavibrantfocalpoint, seamlesslyblendingfun designwithessential functionality.Thereception deskisstrategicallyplaced incloseproximitytothe businessoffice,allowing stafftoefficientlymanage incomingguestswhile maintainingadirectlineof communicationwiththeir colleagues.


Thefourexamroomsarethoughtfullydesignedtocreateasoothingyetplayfulenvironment forpatients.Eachroomisequippedwithclerestorywindowsthatallownaturallighttoflood thearea.Thesewindows,positionedhighonthewalls,bringinsunlightwithoutcompromising


Thespacesdesignedforstaffarebothfunctionalandinviting,creatinganenvironmentthat fostersproductivityandcollaboration.

Thisprojectreimaginesa16,000SFcreative Advertisingworkplacefor“NEXT’sChicago office”,designedtosupporthybrid collaboration,creativity,andemployee wellbeingacrosstwoconnectedfloors.Inspired byChicago’sdeep-rootedbaseballculture,the workplacedrawsfromAmerica’spastimeas bothaculturalandspatialframework,using familiarpatternstofostercomfort,connection, andcreativity.
Thelayoutisorganizedusingthegeometryofa baseballdiamond,providingcleardirectional flow,intuitivecirculation,andabalanceof symmetryandflexibility.Thisstructurepromotes movementandsocialinteractionwhilehelping usersnavigatethespace.Arangeofopen, shielded,andenclosedworksettingssupports neurodiverseemployees,byofferingsensory choice,predictablepathways,controlled acoustics,andadjustablelighting.Groundedin inclusivedesignprinciplesandNEXT’s“Being MoreHuman”ethos,theworkplacecreatesan environmentthatisengaging,humancentered,andsupportiveofbothfocusedwork andmeaningfulcollaboration.





SportsarewovenintothefabricofAmerican culture,fosteringLifelongLoyaltyamong fansfortheirbelovedteams.Nowhereisthis devotionmorepalpablethaninChicago. Baseballstandsasapivotalpastime, offeringanEscapefromthemonotonyof dailylife.Infusingthisspiritintothe workplacewillcultivateanenvironment whereindividualsenjoytheirtime,Sparking CreativityandCollaboration.Byembracing America'scherishedpastimeintheoffice, bothemployeesandclientscan"BeMore Human",presentingideaswithwarmthand forgingDeeperConnectionswithone another.
eChicago’sloveforbaseballrunsdeep.Itiswovenintothe fabricofthecity’shistory,identity,andspirit.Fromthebu neighborhoodstotheiconicivy-coveredwallsof Field,baseballisn’tjustasportinChicago;it’sawayoflife. Withtraditionthatspansgenerations,thepeopleofChicago haveembracedbaseballinawayfewcitiescanrival,making itasymbolofresilienceandcommunitypride bringspeopletogether,offeringasharedexperiencethat transcendsage,race,andbackground.Whetherit’sfamilies gatheredaroundtheTV,coworkersdiscussinglastnight’s game,orfansmeetingatlocalsportsbars, acommongroundthatconnectseveryone.

TheDiamondfunctionsastheperfectspaceforIndependentwork,whilealso facilitatingClandestineMeetingswithco-workers.Whetheryou'reseeking solitudeforfocusedtasksordiscussingprojectswithteammates,TheDiamond AdaptsEffortlesslytoeveryone’sneeds,ensuringproductivity.


TheTeamMeetingroomsfunctionasspacesthatallowforcreative Brainstorming,bothin-personandvirtually.Thedesignincorporates VersatilefurniturepiecesandtechnologytosupportanEverEvolvingwork environment.

Thisgroupprojectreimaginesaformermid-century JCPenneybuildingindowntownSalina,Kansas,asa mixed-usecommunitydestinationrootedinthe conceptofUnityThroughDiversity.Drawing inspirationfromtheancientGreekagora,thedesign positionsthebuildingasamoderncivicheart,one thatsupportscommerce,gathering,andcultural exchangewhilestrengtheningcommunityidentity.The projectembracesdualitybyintentionallyblending contrastingelements:publicandprivate,oldand new,energeticandcalm,creatingspacesthatinvitea widerangeofusersandactivitiestocoexist.Working collaboratively,ourteamdevelopedacohesive strategythatunifiesretail,incubatorspaces,afood hall,outdoorgatheringareas,andapermanent restaurantacrosstwolevels.Myindividual contributionsfocusedonconceptdevelopment, materialselection,façadedesign,andrestaurant development,ensuringthearchitectureandinteriors workedtogethertoreinforceopenness,connection, andstreetengagement.Theredesignedfaçade increasestransparencyalongSantaFeAvenue, activatingtheurbanedge,whilematerialchoices balancedurabilitywithwarmthtosupportboth everydayuseandsocialexperience.Therestaurant servesasacentralgatheringspacewithintheproject, anchoringthemodernagoraandreinforcingthe building’sroleasaplaceofsharedexperienceand connection.





InancientGreece,theagorawasmorethan justamarketplace;itwastheheartofthe city,aplacewhereCommunityand Connectionthrived.ThisconceptofUnity ThroughDiversityextendstotheideaof bringingoppositestogether.Ourmodern Agoraembracesdualityinitsdesign, atmosphere,andpurpose,fosteringboth communityandconnectionthroughthe

Themuralwallisacaptivatingtributeto Salina’shistory,blendingpastandpresent throughdepictionsofdifferentstreetviews. Servingasastorytellingelement,itleads visitorstowardtherestroomentrancewhile celebratingtheevolutionofthecommunity.

Ahearthistraditionallythecenterofahome, thefireplaceoropencookingspacewhere mealswereprepared,andpeoplegathered. Historically,thehearthwasmorethanjusta functionalelement,itwastheheartofthe household,aplaceofnourishment,comfort, andcommunity. Takingthisideawe includedabuiltinfireplaceandutilizeda warmpalettetocreateafeelingofbeingata hearth.




Theoutdoorspaceoffersadynamic newview,featuringastageforlive concertsandalargeprojectorfor moviescreenings,creatinga versatileareaforentertainmentand differentevents.



Thedayviewshowcasesafamilyfriendlyenvironmentwithvarietyofseating optionstoaccommodateallabilitiesandincreaseuserchoice.

Thenightviewshowcasesthefluidityofthespaceasitcaneasilyattractand holdeventscateredtoyoungergenerationsatnight.
