Outline of Services and Fees Consulting: $125 an hour For professional consulting services regarding art acquisition, selection, utilization, and preservation, services include but not limited to:
- Research and presentation - Art consulting and curating for private/corporate collectors and galleries - Art placement - Advising institutions on increasing board and customer engagement, curating special events and pop-ups to encourage institutional support
- Correspondence with artists, galleries, dealers etc. - Consulting and providing resources for framing, lighting, maintenance, transportation and installation
- Overseeing conservation and/or restoration Appraisal Services: $100 an hour As a qualified member of the International Society of Appraisers, Rachel provides appraisal services for IRS, insurance, charitable donations, and estate settlements. Depending on the client’s needs, the process will require inspection of the artwork, photographs of the property, research, and an appraisal report adhering to the principles set by the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice. Collection Management: $75 an hour Rachel assists collectors on all collection management activities, including, but not limited to: loans, shipping, installation, restoration, conservation and overall managing of inventory. For the latter she will organize all the clients art to be photographed and digitized onto an online art inventory software. This software will include all information regarding the art, including provenance, purchase paperwork, taxes, location and more. Art Catalog: $150 per item (minimum purchase of 20 pieces) In addition to the collection management service, Rachel can create a printed art catalog of the client’s collection. Her services include:
- Photographing all artworks - Formatting an InDesign file for print which includes all artwork’s information (if more information is wished to be included that can be discussed)
- Writing a prologue in the catalog on the collector and/or collection (this can be discussed and further personalized based on client’s specifications)
