Survey of Physical Science
Mock Exam
Course Introduction
Survey of Physical Science provides an overview of the foundational concepts in physics, chemistry, astronomy, and earth sciences. This course introduces non-science majors to the scientific method as well as the fundamental principles that govern the physical world, including motion, energy, matter, atomic structure, chemical reactions, the solar system, and geological processes. Through lectures, demonstrations, and laboratory experiences, students gain an appreciation for the role of physical science in everyday life and develop critical thinking skills needed to interpret scientific phenomena.
