Course Introduction

Rehabilitation Science explores the principles, theories, and practices underlying the restoration of function and improvement of quality of life for individuals affected by injury, illness, or disability. This course covers interdisciplinary approaches integrating biological, psychological, and social perspectives to assess, treat, and prevent physical and cognitive impairments. Students gain an understanding of rehabilitation interventions, emerging technologies, patient-centered care, and evidence-based practice, preparing them for collaborative roles in various clinical, community, and research settings.
