This course provides an overview of key concepts such as power, authority, sovereignty, political ideologies, public policy, and civil rights. Students will explore the structures and functions of various political systems, from democracies to authoritarian regimes, and analyze the roles of political parties, interest groups, and the media. Through critical analysis of both historical and contemporary issues, students develop foundational skills to understand political dynamics on local, national, and global levels.
