Course Introduction
Personality Psychology explores the scientific study of individual differences in human thought, emotion, and behavior. The course examines major theories and empirical research on personality development, assessment, and change, including perspectives such as trait, psychodynamic, humanistic, and social-cognitive approaches. Students will analyze how personality influences psychological well-being, relationships, and life outcomes, as well as the biological and environmental factors that shape personality across the lifespan. Through case studies and research activities, learners will gain insights into personality measurement and the application of theory in real-world contexts.
