Pathology Final Exam

Course Introduction

Pathology is the study of the causes, mechanisms, and effects of diseases on the human body. This course introduces students to the fundamental principles of pathology, including cellular injury, inflammation, tissue repair, hemodynamic disorders, genetic diseases, and neoplasia. Students will learn how abnormal cellular and physiological processes result in clinical symptoms and signs, and how these changes are identified through gross, microscopic, and molecular techniques. Emphasis is placed on understanding disease processes to support clinical decision-making and improve patient outcomes.
