Occupational Therapy Anatomy
Final Exam
Course Introduction
Occupational Therapy Anatomy provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the structure and function of the human body as it relates to the practice of occupational therapy. The course explores the anatomical foundations of the musculoskeletal, nervous, and cardiorespiratory systems, emphasizing their roles in movement and everyday activities. Students will learn to identify major anatomical landmarks, analyze body mechanics, and apply anatomical knowledge to the assessment and intervention of various physical, developmental, and occupational challenges. Through lectures, laboratory sessions, and case studies, students will deepen their ability to integrate anatomical concepts into therapeutic reasoning and client-centered intervention planning.
