Inclusive Education explores the principles, policies, and practices that support the meaningful participation and learning of all students, regardless of their abilities, backgrounds, or differences. The course examines strategies for creating equitable and accessible classrooms, addressing diverse needs through differentiated instruction, and fostering a culture of respect and belonging. Students will engage with current research, legislation, and case studies to understand barriers to inclusion and effective interventions that promote positive outcomes for learners with disabilities, linguistic diversity, and other marginalized characteristics. Emphasis is placed on collaboration among educators, families, and communities to sustain inclusive environments in educational settings.
