Human Growth and Development Exam Review
Course Introduction
Human Growth and Development explores the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social changes that occur throughout the human lifespan, from conception to old age. The course examines major theories of development, such as those proposed by Piaget, Erikson, and Vygotsky, and discusses the biological, psychological, and sociocultural factors that influence growth at each stage of life. Students will study typical developmental milestones as well as variations due to genetics, environment, and individual differences, enabling them to understand the complexities of human development in diverse contexts.
