Human-Environment Interaction explores the complex and dynamic relationships between human societies and their surrounding environments. This course examines how humans impact natural systems through activities such as agriculture, urbanization, resource extraction, and pollution, and in turn, how environmental changes affect social, economic, and cultural life. Topics include land use patterns, climate change, environmental policies, sustainable development, and the cultural perception of nature. Through case studies and interdisciplinary approaches, students gain an understanding of the reciprocal influences between people and the environment, preparing them to analyze current environmental challenges and contribute to solutions for a more sustainable future.
