Course Introduction
Health Education explores the fundamental principles, strategies, and practices necessary for promoting and maintaining individual and community health. The course examines the physical, mental, emotional, and social factors that influence health behaviors and outcomes. Students will learn about key topics such as nutrition, physical activity, disease prevention, substance abuse, mental health, sexual health, and environmental influences. Emphasis is placed on effective communication, designing health promotion programs, and evaluating public health issues in diverse populations, empowering students to become informed advocates for healthier lifestyles and communities.
