Introduction
Geography of Landscapes explores the physical and human-made features that shape the Earths surface. The course examines landforms, climate, vegetation patterns, and the processes both natural and anthropogenic that transform landscapes over time. Students will analyze case studies from diverse regions to understand how culture, technology, and environmental factors interact to create unique geographic patterns. Emphasis is placed on spatial analysis, landscape interpretation, and the role of geographic information systems (GIS) in landscape research and management.
