Course Introduction
General Psychology provides an introduction to the scientific study of behavior and mental processes. This course explores foundational topics such as biological bases of behavior, sensation and perception, learning, memory, development, motivation, emotion, personality, psychological disorders, and social behavior. Emphasis is placed on understanding psychological theories, concepts, and research findings, as well as their practical applications in everyday life. Students will gain insight into the diverse influences on human thought and behavior, and develop critical thinking skills essential for analyzing psychological issues.
