Course Introduction
General Psychology is an introductory course that explores the fundamental principles, theories, and methods of the scientific study of human behavior and mental processes. Topics covered include the biological bases of behavior, sensation and perception, learning and memory, development across the lifespan, motivation and emotion, personality, psychological disorders, and social interactions. Students will gain an understanding of how psychological research is conducted and how its findings can be applied to everyday life, thereby fostering critical thinking and a deeper appreciation of the diversity and complexity of human experience.
