This course examines the critical role of family and community partnerships in supporting young children's development and learning. Students will explore strategies for building collaborative relationships with families and community stakeholders, recognizing and valuing diverse family structures and cultural backgrounds. Emphasis is placed on effective communication, inclusive practices, and engaging families as active participants in the educational process. The course also addresses the impact of community resources and agencies on early childhood programs, equipping students with tools to advocate for children and families and foster a holistic, supportive learning environment.
