Course Introduction
Exercise Science is the study of how physical activity, exercise, and sport influence health, fitness, and human performance. This interdisciplinary field blends principles from anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, nutrition, and psychology to understand the acute and chronic effects of movement on the body. Students learn about the bodys response to physical stress, strategies for injury prevention and rehabilitation, and how to design evidence-based exercise programs for diverse populations. Exercise Science provides a strong foundation for careers in fitness, coaching, health promotion, and further studies in allied health professions.
