Ethnic Studies is an interdisciplinary course that examines the historical, social, political, and cultural experiences of diverse ethnic and racial groups. The course explores concepts such as identity, power dynamics, systemic inequality, and resistance, drawing from history, literature, sociology, and other fields to provide students with a deeper understanding of the complexities of race and ethnicity in society. Through critical analysis, students will engage with a variety of perspectives, develop cultural competency, and gain the tools needed to understand and address issues related to diversity, inclusion, and social justice in both local and global contexts.
