Equity Studies Exam Preparation
Guide
Course Introduction
Equity Studies is an interdisciplinary course that explores the concept of equity through the analysis of social, economic, political, and cultural inequalities in local and global contexts. The course examines the historical and contemporary roots of systemic discrimination, exploring issues such as race, gender, class, sexuality, ability, and intersectionality. Through critical inquiry and case studies, students learn to recognize and analyze structures of power and privilege, identify strategies for social justice, and develop skills to advocate for more inclusive and equitable societies.
