Course Introduction
Environmental Biology explores the relationships between living organisms and their environments, focusing on how natural systems function and how human activities impact these systems. Students will examine topics such as ecosystem dynamics, biodiversity, population ecology, energy flow, nutrient cycling, and the effects of pollution and climate change. Emphasis is placed on understanding current environmental challenges and exploring sustainable solutions to protect natural resources and maintain ecological balance. Through case studies, laboratory work, and field investigations, students gain practical experience in analyzing environmental issues from both biological and societal perspectives.
