Diagnostic Immunology Practice Exam
Course Introduction
Diagnostic Immunology explores the principles and applications of immunology in the diagnosis of diseases. The course covers the structure and function of the immune system, antigen-antibody interactions, and the development of immune responses. Students will learn about various immunological techniques such as ELISA, immunofluorescence, flow cytometry, and western blotting, as well as their roles in detecting infections, autoimmune disorders, immunodeficiencies, and allergies.
Emphasis is placed on interpreting laboratory results and understanding quality control in diagnostic testing. The course prepares students to apply immunological methods in clinical laboratories and research settings.
