Course Introduction
Cultural Anthropology explores the diversity of human cultures, beliefs, practices, and social structures across the globe. The course introduces students to the key concepts, methods, and theories used by anthropologists to examine cultural norms, values, rituals, and worldviews. Topics include kinship, religion, language, gender roles, economic systems, and globalization. Students will also learn ethnographic research techniques and develop an understanding of cultural relativism and the impact of cultural differences on global issues.
