Course Introduction
Consumer Behavior explores the psychological, social, and cultural factors that influence how individuals and groups select, purchase, use, and dispose of products and services. The course examines decision-making processes, the impact of marketing strategies, consumer motivation, perception, attitudes, and learning, as well as the roles of family, social class, and reference groups. By understanding consumer behavior, students gain insights into effective marketing tactics, segmentation, targeting, and positioning, enabling them to better predict and respond to consumer needs and preferences in a dynamic marketplace.
