This course explores the essential communication skills required for effective social work practice. Students will develop practical techniques for building trust, managing conflict, and advocating for clients in diverse settings. Emphasis is placed on ethical and professional standards, documentation and reporting, and adapting communication approaches to meet the needs of vulnerable or marginalized populations. Through case studies, role-plays, and reflective exercises, students will enhance their ability to communicate compassionately and clearly across a variety of social work contexts.
