Exam Materials
Course Introduction
This course is designed to equip support workers with essential clinical skills required to assist healthcare professionals in a variety of settings. Through a combination of theoretical instruction and hands-on practical training, students will develop competencies in areas such as patient observation, basic wound care, infection prevention and control, personal care procedures, and effective communication with both patients and healthcare teams. Emphasis is placed on understanding the ethical and legal responsibilities of support workers, maintaining patient safety, and fostering a compassionate, person-centered approach to care. Upon completion, students will be prepared to contribute confidently and safely to the delivery of healthcare services within their scope of practice.
